Link to my BPD vid:
Today Hannah and I talk about mental health and gender. Now I know that we cannot include all people and experiences into our chat, but what I hope to get across in this video is that everyone is different and it’s important for all of us to notice what stigmas or stereotypes we place on mental health and wellness. Just like Hannah and I talked about, men can also have eating disorders and borderline personality disorder. In my research I found that men are actually more likely than women to be diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder, so that is something else to be aware of.
If you are struggling with any mental health issue, please reach out for help! The sooner we reach out the better, no matter what gender we identify with or express. So please get the help that you need and deserve. xoxo
