(Stating from the thesis that I did entitling "HOW FAR THE PEOPLE OF BANGLADESH AWARE OF THE HEALTH HAZARDS FACED BY THE TRAFFIC POLICE")

The traffic police play a vital role to maintain law and order, protect our lives and ensure safety on the roads. I believe that most of the people of our country are not sincere to follow traffic rules while travelling on roads that create stress to traffic police while on duty. Increasing traffic of vehicles and population deteriorate the level of air pollution in the cities of our country. But the general people of our country are not aware of the health hazards of the traffic police while rendering their services on the roads. People always have some preconscious notions about the traffic police of our country and they hardly consider them as sincere, responsible and honest. People are not aware of the trainings and the other facilities provided to the traffic police. Though there are some exceptions, these people even do not know the fact that they create their own problems on the roads. Some dishonest policemen are involved in various mischievous activities which are lessening the respect for the whole police department. But still, the people who are aware of the hazards, have a feeling that we all should be very responsible to follow traffic rules and cooperate traffic police to maintain law and order to protect lives on the roads and ensure road safety. The government also should take the appropriate measures to protect and help sick and injured traffic polices with proper treatment and adequate compensation if needed. There must be some extra privileges and benefits for them as well.
