This is probably my most well-liked image. I took it in 2007 during a journey to Mt. Rainier National Park. I was lucky adequate to have it take initial area in the landscape category of the 2008 Nature’s Ideal Photography Windland Smith Rice Global Awards Competitiveness. As the winner of the landscape category a 4 foot by 6 foot print of this image was shown at the Smithsonian National Museum of Normal History in Washington D.C. from November of 2008 by Might of 2009 along with the other category winners. It was a terrific working experience to go up there and see it.
